Terms of service
These terms apply when you use this website or plan and book travel with TRIPPLANNERS. Please read them with the cancellation policy and the specific terms we send with each quote.
What we do
TRIPPLANNERS plans and arranges travel on your behalf. Flights, hotels, transport, activities, cruises, visas and insurance are provided by independent suppliers. We act as your agent in booking them, and each supplier's own terms, fare rules and conditions also apply to your booking.
Quotes and prices
Quotes are based on availability and prices at the time we prepare them. Airfares and hotel rates can change until they are paid for and confirmed. We tell you before you pay if a price has changed, and you decide whether to go ahead.
Prices include the taxes and charges we show in the quote. Government taxes and supplier charges may change; if they do before ticketing, we will tell you.
Flight fares shown on the Book trips page, including any marked as sample fares, are for guidance. A booking request is not a confirmed booking.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed only when we have received payment and the supplier has confirmed it, for example when an airline ticket number or hotel confirmation is issued. We send the payment details and deadline with each quote.
Please pay only through the bank details, payment links, phone numbers and email addresses published on this website. TRIPPLANNERS has no branch offices or franchises.
Your responsibilities
Please make sure you:
- Give us traveller names exactly as on each passport; airlines may charge for or refuse name changes.
- Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, with enough blank pages, and any visas, permits or health documents your destinations require.
- Check your tickets, vouchers and itinerary as soon as you receive them and tell us about any mistakes.
- Arrive in good time for flights and transfers, and follow suppliers' rules.
- Understand that visa and entry decisions are made by governments, not by us. We help with the paperwork.
Changes and cancellations
See our cancellation policy. Changes or cancellations requested by you, and changes made by suppliers, are handled as described there.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical costs, cancellation and baggage. Some countries require it for a visa. We can arrange it on request.
Our responsibility
We take care in arranging your travel, and we are responsible for the services we provide ourselves. We are not responsible for the acts or failures of independent suppliers, or for events outside our control such as weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness, government action or airline schedule changes. Where a supplier is at fault, we will help you seek a remedy from them.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us as soon as possible, ideally while you are still travelling, so we can try to fix it. Complaints can be sent to our grievance officer, Abhishek Jain, at info@tripplanners.co.in or 011 4550 0000. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
