The short answer

Indian passport holders need a visa to visit Singapore, and the application must go through an authorised visa agent. You cannot apply directly to the High Commission. We checked this against the Singapore High Commission in New Delhi on 5 October 2026.

Fees and timing

The High Commission lists a visa fee of ₹2,100, which is not refundable, plus an agent service fee of up to ₹1,300. Processing usually takes three to five working days, not counting the day of submission, weekends and public holidays. Apply at least two weeks before travel to be safe.

Documents

A signed Form 14A, a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry, and two recent colour photographs taken within the last three months. Some applicants are asked for more, such as bank statements or proof of employment; we tell you exactly what your file needs.

The length of stay is decided by Singapore's immigration officers when you arrive, not by the visa itself.

The SG Arrival Card

Every traveller must submit the SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival, on the ICA website or the MyICA app. It is free; avoid third-party sites that charge for it.

Passing through

Indians holding a valid visa for Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK or the US may transit Singapore by air for up to 96 hours without a Singapore visa, under the visa-free transit facility.
