When to go, from India

The Maldives
November to April is the dry season with calm seas. May to October is greener and wetter, with lower rates and good diving.
Most visited: North & South Malé atolls, Baa Atoll, Outer atolls.
Bali
April to October is the dry season. July and August are busiest; May, June and September are ideal.
Most visited: Ubud, Uluwatu, Seminyak & Canggu, Nusa Penida.
